"The days of our companionship are approaching their end."

This is a weighty piece. As soon as the Bab mission is declared and His Covenant accomplished, he is already stating that their time together is very limited. Like a supernova in the kingdom of creation. Or a more modern quote "Lets get busy"

Today I'm trying to memorize the quotation in question #10: "...A secret lies hidden in that city..." I never thought about this aspect of Mulla Husayn's life and station: he is not only the first to recognize the Bab, but then becomes the first messenger of the Bab to Baha'u'llah.

I had never thought about it that way. I always just kind of figured that Baha'u'llah had the innate knowledge that he was the Promised One, but maybe he needed to hear about the Bab first for that knowledge to make itself clear to him.

I am so glad that the GPB study is so close to what we are doing in Ruhi! It makes it more interesting. Like we were discussing yesterday, it seems that the relationship of the Bab and Baha'u'llah is mystical and difficult to comprehend! If the Manifistation has innate knowledge, would he need to hear of the Qa'im? But in the story of Mulla Husayn going to Tirhan, we know that Baha'u'llah was not a follower of the Bab prior.

Oh... my head hurts trying to understand.
